Do you ever find yourself scribbling down poem after poem? Do you ever read a poem and think, “That was beautiful,” or “Where can I read more of these?” Look no further than the Poetry for the People club! In the club, you can write poetry to share with the class, or you can just come to hear other poems written by your classmates. You can even share poems written by some of your favorite authors! Everyone learns a lot about the different styles of poetry and what they can mean to the ones who wrote them. We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at 3:30. Contact Mrs. Allison Read if you want to join. I really enjoy being a part of this club, and I know you’ll enjoy it too. Hope to see you at our next meeting!
